- Claude Code asks before modifying files. While learning, read what it plans and approve step by step, do not switch on auto-accept.
- Work in dedicated project folders, never run it in the root of your disk or in folders with sensitive documents.
- Never paste passwords, API keys, or private data of other people into any AI tool.
- Paid plans have usage limits that reset periodically. Big builds burn usage faster; if you hit a limit, it comes back, and it is a sign to plan more and generate less.
- AI-built code can have mistakes. For a hobby page, fine. For anything handling money or other people's data, get a professional to review it.
Done when: you can explain to someone else why "approve step by step while learning" is the rule.
